Meth Lab Cleanup

According to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management's (IDEM) rule, IAC 318-1-1-1
(the complete 14-page rule can be seen here [PDF file]),
property owners must have dwellings which contained meth labs:
Inspected by a certified inspector, including taking laboratory samples,
Cleaned and decontaminated by contractors certified with the state,
Pass clearance testing,
Report the results to the local health department.
All of this must be done before the home can be reoccupied or sold.
The home DOES NOT need to be demolished, but considerably more must be done than to simply call "Merry Maids".
The graphic below shows meth lab locations "busted" in Harrison County since August, 2005.
Each symbol represents the location of an operational lab or a chemical / equipment dump.
If you are concerned that a symbol is near your home, call 812-738-3237 for more information.
